This painting holds a really special place in my heart as it's the first ever painting of water that I've done. While I was in Spain, I carefully watched the water, the ocean, the pool, in the shower. I really took my time observing it and studying the way light seemed to play with it, like the two were friends. As soon as I got home, I picked up some brushes, plonked paint onto a pallet and stepped deep into 'the zone'. Next thing I knew, I had a beautiful painting infront of me. I didn't plan anything, it all flowed straight through me & onto the canvas. It was such a euphoric feeling to be able to paint this way for the first time in years. I am extremely proud of the outcome.
